Growing Life Long Learning

Get in Touch

Day 5

Good morning Year 5! I hope that you've had fun at singing assembly and that you got your families involved too! You should be nicely warmed up now ready to do some work! So...

1) GOAL- To complete an Easter Multiplication Mosaic (Maths)

As you've worked so hard this term, today's Maths is something nice before Easter! So, have a look at the sheets and choose which you would like to do. The first one, we can certainly all have a good go at! The second two are a little more tricky but would be great if you fancy more of a challenge! Remember to colour neatly!

2) GOAL- To learn a poem and to recite it out loud (Reading/ Speaking)

Today, to get us ready for Easter, I thought it would be nice to do some poetry recital. All you need to do is choose one of the three poems below. Then, you need to try to learn it as well as you can off by heart (you could make up actions to help you). Once you've done that, practise reciting it out loud. Remember to put lots of expression into your voice! If someone can video you doing it, you could even email the video to the gallery email address and we could put some up on the website for others to watch! Good luck!

Well everyone, that is it for this term! I know that these last couple of weeks will not have been easy for you or perhaps for your parents but I am sure that you have all tried your hardest with your work and that is all that you can do! I will not be posting any work for the next 2 weeks so that you all have the chance to have a good rest. One thing that would make a real difference though is to keep reading! Make sure that you spend lots of time with your families and have plenty of fun! Mrs Asbury and I have been missing you all and we hope to see you before too long! We will be back online on Monday 20th April! See you then!

Happy Easter! :)
