Get in Touch

Good morning Year 6,

I hope that you have had a good weekend. This is our last week on Kensuke's Kingdom. I hope that you have been enjoying the story.

Here is your work for today.

Today, you are recapping number sequences. Have a look at the link to the BBC Bitesize website first. Then look at the examples at the top of the page on the Target Your Maths sheet before answering the questions. For a change you could try doing 10 minutes of each section or you could choose a section - it's up to you. Always try and challenge yourself with some harder questions once you feel confident. There is also a maths challenge about sequences and finding out about the Fibonacci sequence.

In your writing, you are going to be thinking about the character of Kensuke and whether or not he is keeping Michael prisoner. Then you will be writing a balanced argument about whether he is keeping Michael a prisoner or not. All details are on the planning sheet.

Learn the next list of spellings on your homework sheet.

Make sure you are reading regularly, preferably at least 15 minutes a day.

Have a good day.

Mrs Betteley
