Literacy/Topic - Science

Monday

Look at Jessica's calender.  Write about some of the things Jessica has planned.  Remember names of people amd days of the Week/Month all need capital letters.

Think about:

Anything she does the same day every week?

Any one off events?

What would you like to try that Jessica is doing?

Do you do any clubs/sports?

Tuesday

Complete the reading comprehension about David Attenborough.  I reccomend attempting the middle one.

Wednesday

Imagine you are a newspaper reporter.  You are going to interview Sir David Attenborough!  Write a list of questions you could ask him.  Don't forget after each question you write to use a '?'.

Thursday

Print off a copy of the world map below.

Then watch the you tube clip about extinct animals.  Research some of the extinct animals that you have discovered and show on the world map where they would have been located.

Friday

Think about how we can do more to protect endangerd animals.  One, simple thing you can do from home is to be more concious when recycling and thinking more what what we throw away.

Share the story of The Messy Magpie.  Then have a go at completing some of the thought bubble/speech bubbles to go with the story.

Science

Think about what you have learnt about our topic this week.

Create a poster for school to encourage people to recycle.

PSHE

Think about our recent PSHE lessons - they have been about what we want to be when we grow up and unserstanding how you need different skills and qualities for different jobs.

Draw a picture of your family members doing their jobs and write about:

What they do?

What skills they need for this?

What qualities they need for this?

Think of 5 questions you can ask your parents about their jobs.  Remember your question marks!

You can write down their answers too!
