Answers for Tuesday's maths 2

Hello Year 6,

I hope that you enjoyed your home learning yesterday.

Today in Maths you are recapping remainders as fractions. These are division questions, where you have to put the remainder as a fraction. Some of the calculations you may be able to do in your head if you do questions from A. Other questions from B and C will have to be done using either the bus stop method or long division using chunking. There are some examples shown at the top of the page.

GOAL: Writing remainders as a fraction in its simplest form.

Literacy - GOAL: To identify unfamiliar words and describe their meaning.

Read the planning sheet for details.

Have fun!

Mrs Betteley
