Week 3 Resources
This week in maths we are moving on from knowing our table facts and developing our skills in written methods for multiplication. You need to know your tables well to help with this work so keep practising your TTRS particularly the garage levels. On Thursday there is an opportunity to practise the skills you have acquired on Wednesday you will need to write the calculations out.

This week you will be writing a non-chronological report on Queen Elizabeth II. After that we are focusing on the Battle of Hastings in 1066 starting with looking at the Bayeux Tapestry. There are clips for you to watch and text to read on the Bayeux Tapestry on Wednesday with an activity. At the bottom of the page are 4 looms which I recorded during lockdown on the story told through the Bayeux Tapestry which you can watch. On Thursday the reading comprehension is about the Battle of Hastings. I have given you a text and a clip to help with your understanding of the battle. Next week we will be doing follow up writing on the Battle of Hastings.
This week is following on from our safety work from last week and there is a game for you to play with the instructions.

Also included is a timeline of the British monarchs you need to research the British kings and queens and fill in the timeline. In addition is the story of the Bayeux Tapestry in 4 parts for you to listen to and watch the story.
