Week 4 21/3/22

We are continuing with our work on decimals.  You made a good start last week we are going to be looking at hundredths and dividing by 10 to create a decimal number. Keep practising your TTRS and remember on Wednesday it is World Maths Day.  Last week in school you were shown how to logon onto mathletes and on Wednesday you will be able to do some activities testing your speed skills.  However you can logon onto mathletes before then and do some activities. On Wednesday I have included some Tudor maths problems for you to solve.

This week the focus is on William Shakespeare.  There is a planning sheet to complete on finding out facts about William Shakespeare which is to be completed on Monday and Tuesday. I have attached several different resources for your research have a look at several of them to complete your work.  On Wednesday I would like you to write a diary entry as William Shakespeare.  You have returned home to Stratford and in your home in New Place with your wife Anne and daughters Suzanna and Judith after acting in London for Queen Elizabeth I.  Write about how you are feeling from your play and how it feels to be home.  Use your research to help you.

This week we are looking at having rights and the word responsibility.  First, watch the presentation as a slideshow to help you understand how to complete the activities. Then there is a wordsearch to complete on the subject specific words we have focused on in the presentation.  The second activity is to create a banner, you can look at the worksheet but you do not need to print it.
