Vision & Values

Quinton Primary School > About Us > Vision & Values

At the heart of our community is a simple but powerful vision: to belong, grow, love to learn, cherish memories and shine together. We believe every individual should feel valued and connected, confident to develop their unique strengths, inspired to discover new possibilities, and proud of the moments and milestones that shape their journey. Together, we create an environment where everyone can flourish and succeed.

Our values – the ABC of Quinton Qualities: Aspiration, Bravery and Compassion – guide everything we do. We aspire to achieve our very best, approach challenges with bravery and resilience, and treat one another with kindness and understanding. These qualities shape our culture, strengthen our community and ensure that we grow and shine together.

Our three simple school rules – Be Ready, Be Respectful, Be Safe – help us create a happy, positive and successful learning environment for everyone.

Be Ready means coming to school prepared to learn, with the right equipment, a positive attitude and a willingness to try our best.
Be Respectful means showing kindness, good manners and consideration towards others, our environment and ourselves.
Be Safe means making sensible choices that protect our wellbeing and the wellbeing of those around us.

By following these three simple rules each day, we help every member of our school community to belong, grow and shine together.

At our school, we follow a carefully designed behaviour curriculum that explicitly teaches children the attitudes, routines and conduct that help everyone succeed. We believe positive behaviour is not simply expected – it is taught, modelled and practised, just like any other area of learning.

Our behaviour curriculum ensures a consistent approach across the whole school. All staff use shared language, clear expectations and agreed routines so that children experience the same high standards in every classroom and every space. This consistency helps pupils feel secure, understand what is expected of them and develop the self-regulation skills they need to thrive.

By teaching behaviour with clarity and care, we create a calm, purposeful environment where every child can belong, grow, love to learn, create cherished memories and shine together.
