A very warm welcome to Quinton Primary School! We are a friendly, nurturing village school where children are known as individuals, relationships matter, and there is plenty to smile about.
Choosing a school for your child is a big decision. We want every child who joins us to feel safe, happy and part of our Quinton community. We have high aspirations for our pupils and work hard to give them the teaching, encouragement and support they need to achieve their best. Just as importantly, we want them to love coming to school and leave us with wonderful memories of their primary years.
We were absolutely delighted that our recent Ofsted inspection recognised the strength of our school, awarding five ‘Strong’ standards and two ‘Expected’ standards. We are incredibly proud of this achievement, which reflects the care and commitment of our staff, the enthusiasm of our pupils and the support of our families and governors. Our ABC of Quinton Qualities – Aspiration, Bravery and Compassion – runs through school life. We encourage children to aim high, have the courage to try something new and show kindness to others. Our motto, Growing Lifelong Learning, and our vision, ‘Belong, grow, love to learn, cherish memories, shine together!’, capture what we want for every child.
Set just six miles from Stratford-upon-Avon, Quinton welcomes children aged 3 to 11. From the purposeful play and discovery of Early Years to the growing independence and responsibilities of Year 6, we offer a broad, engaging curriculum that builds knowledge, sparks curiosity and makes room for every child’s talents.
Our spacious grounds provide opportunities to explore, play and learn outdoors, including during our much-loved OPAL lunchtimes. Music, sport, clubs, trips and pupil leadership roles help children discover new interests, build confidence and experience the excitement of being part of a team. We also offer on-site breakfast and after-school care to support our families, with after-school provision provided through our partnership with Onside.
Inclusion is at the heart of our work. We take time to understand each child, work closely with families and remove barriers to learning and participation. Our school rules – Be Ready, Be Respectful, Be Safe – give children clear, consistent expectations within a caring environment where adults help them manage challenges and build positive relationships.
