Year 5

Year 5 did a wide variety of activities ranging from a simple 'Let's connect' word-search to demonstrate some of the language based around this weeks theme, to looking at some wellbeing activities they feel would benefit them in the future and seeing how many they could tick off in a week. The children also made their own tree of connections and wrote the names of people they felt connected to in their own lives, and why. They also wrote a postcard to themselves in the future giving advice and tips of what positive mental health exercises they could use to help them to take care of their body and mind, or to over come big emotions. 

Lastly, they created their own acrostic poems based on the theme of connections, and how important it is that everybody makes connections to share thoughts, feelings and achievements.
