Year 1
This week Year 1 created some puzzle pieces which will be connected together like a jigsaw to demonstrate how they connect as a class, with their similarities and differences. On the pieces they drew pictures of things that they care about or feel connected to. As well as this, they practiced some yoga, focusing on breathing and stretching and how this helps to calm our body and mind. They also listened to the story of Elmer and decorated their own elephant to represent their unique personalities.
Year 1 had a go at one of the taskmaster activities and each child created their own rainbow, choosing which media to use and how to present it. They also thought about other people they connect with and created a connection egg.
