Get in Touch

Year 6

Hello Year 6,

I hope you had a lovely weekend. It is a shame to not be together to start our learning for this week, but I know that you will put in so much effort at home and I can't wait to see what you produce today.

Please use whatever you have available to you at home to complete your learning. This could be: a notebook, exercise book, word processor, or scrap piece of paper. You might find it useful to print off the resources but this is not necessary. You can bring your learning into school when we reopen.

Please do not worry if you find any of the learning a challenge. Do your very best and remember you can use your researching skills to help you. Jot down any big questions you have about the learning to share with me when were are back in.

General plan for the day is like any normal Monday:

Maths (1 hour)

Reading (1 hour)

Science (1 hour)

Science Week Activity (1 hour)

Slides for the lesson and tasks are attached below:

1. Complete the 5 a day

2. Read through the slides, answer the questions as you go

3. Complete task One and Two (instructions on the slides)

Read Chapter 2 of Good Night Mr Tom (attached below and will take about 25 mins) and answer the questions listed in the PPT slides attached.

Please read through the slides carefully, watch the videos that are linked in the slides and follow the task instructions.

If the videos do not play, please see the attached links below.

British Science Week

It is British Science Week and we would like you to get involved at home by designing a poster to enter into a competition - More details will be sent about this via ping.

Year 6, please see the attached SLIDES where you will find an extra science activity to do throughout this week!
